Job summary

MaineHealth – Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport, ME, is seeking a board-certified/eligible adult neurologist to join our well-established neurology division. The position primarily serves the outpatient clinic with some inpatient responsibilities and tele-stroke backup.

The successful candidate will work alongside senior neurologists in a collaborative team, enjoy a scenic coastal setting, and spend time at Waldo Hospital in Belfast, ME.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active and unrestricted ME medical license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Board certification or eligibility.
• Active and unrestricted DEA license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• EMR experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient neurology with some inpatient duties.
• Share inpatient coverage and call schedule.
• Tele-stroke backup participation.

MaineHealth– Pen Bay Hospital has an immediate full-time opening for a board certified/eligible adult neurologist to join our well-established neurology division. The new team member will have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned Neurologists in beautiful Coastal Maine. This role will also spend time at Waldo Hospital in beautiful Belfast, Maine.

This primarily outpatient position shares an inpatient role among the group and requires a call schedule and includes tele-stroke backup. The patient panel is general adultNeurologyin a demographic that is economically a diverse older population.

This Position Offers

The annual base salary for this position is $320,387.
