Medical Weight Management Physician
Hours: Part‑time – 36 hours per week
Shift: Day – no weekends, holidays, or on‑call duty

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations to diagnose clinical obesity, addressing its multifactorial nature with a compassionate, patient‑centered approach.
- Treat obesity as a chronic disease with evidence‑based, personalized plans integrating medical, nutritional, behavioral, and emotional care.
- Ensure each patient receives high‑quality care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage obesity‑related conditions and comorbidities.
- Conduct in‑person consultations at our Fall River, Wareham & Hyannis locations.
- Provide virtual consultations.
- Educate patients on the science and complexities of obesity, emphasizing a supportive environment.
- Document treatment plans and progress notes in accordance with practice protocols using EPIC.
- Participate in community outreach and educational events to highlight awareness and guidance on nutrition and obesity care.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Family or Internal Medicine.
- Preference for candidates certified in obesity medicine (ABOM).
- Experience providing care for patients with obesity and related conditions.
- Current state medical license and DEA registration.
- Demonstrated clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and effective communication skills.
