The Jackson Clinic, P.A. is seeking a BE/BC Med-Peds physician to join our West Tennessee team on a full-time basis. The practice features shared after-hours call with Pediatric colleagues and limited inpatient duties (newborn nursery rounds, no deliveries).

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Med-Peds is required or considered.
• Strong clinical skills in outpatient and inpatient pediatrics with collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Take after-hours calls with Pediatric partners and supervise NP staff during clinic.
• Inpatient coverage includes newborn nursery rounds; no attending deliveries.
• Maintain physician autonomy and collaborate with 90+ physician partners; participate in hospital and clinic activities.
• Engage in built-in referrals and multi-specialty clinical research opportunities as part of a large multi-specialty group.

The Jackson Clinic, P.A. is a large physician owned multi-specialty group with 90 physicians in over 20 specialties and subspecialties. Call – Full call shared with Pediatricians and half call shared with Family Practice/Internal Medicine *Pediatric Call – Take phone calls after hours, cover for Pediatric partners and supervise NP’s during clinic. Inpatient services: round in newborn nursery only, no attending deliveries. Internal Medicine Call* – Phone calls after hours including calls from nursing homes, no admitting responsibilities or ER Call. About 6 Pediatrics calls (including 1 weekend) per month and 1 IM/FP call per month – Physician Autonomy and Collaboration Among 90 Physician Partners – Good Work-Life Balance, Excellent Schools and Family Friendly Community – Low Cost of Living, No State Income Tax – Outpatient Surgery Center – Physician Owned and Governed by 7-member physician board – Full partner in 3 years, minimal buy-in – Over 20 Specialties and Subspecialties – Built-in Referrals, Clinical Research, Resident Teaching Opportunities – Close proximity to Memphis (1 hour) and Nashville (2 hours).
