Job summary

SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital – Madison is recruiting a Board Certified Gastroenterologist for the outpatient center in Madison, Wisconsin. The role involves providing clinical care in inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings with ERCP as a core skill and EUS preferred.

The practice features ~80% outpatient and ~20% inpatient work, about 10-12 cases per day, a four-day clinical week with one administrative day, and a convenient EPIC EMR system across the system.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency.
• Fellowship in GI with ACGME accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings.
• Establish and perform routine endoscopic procedures (upper and lower).
• Outpatient care ~80% and inpatient ~20%.
• Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled.

SSM Health Dean Medical Group, a 500+ physician multi-specialty group, is actively recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) Board Certified Gastroenterologist for the SSM Health St. Mary's Outpatient Center in Madison, Wisconsin. Become a key provider with this growing clinically focused practice working with an experienced team of GI physicians, APP's and Dietician.

Job Details:

• ERCP skills necessary, EUS preferred.
• Providing clinical care in the inpatient, outpatient, and procedural setting.
• Established procedures include upper and lower endoscopy.
• Approximately 80% outpatient / 20% inpatient.
• Anticipate 10-12 Cases per day.
• Excellent procedural, pharmacy and infusion services.
• Four-day clinical work week with one administrative day.
• Call 1:9 for IP; ERCP call 1:5 weekends.
• Outreach – Janesville 2 days week for both procedures and clinic.
• Fully integrated EPIC EMR across the system.
• Two-year guaranteed salary with wRVU production and signing bonus.
