Stopwatch Urgent Care in Troy is seeking a board‑certified / board‑eligible physician (Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med‑Peds) to lead daytime urgent‑care shifts with predictable hours and no overnight call.

Your Day‑to‑Day

Treat 3–4 patients per hour, all ages
Order & interpret on‑site X‑ray and rapid labs (flu, strep, UA, COVID)
Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage
Collaborate with APPs and ensure 30‑minute door‑to‑door visits
Perform employment and DOT physicals once credentialed

Must‑Haves

Active Alabama medical license (MD or DO) or eligibility
2+ years of post‑residency urgent‑care or ED experience preferred
FMCSA DOT Medical Examiner cert or willingness to complete it within six weeks of hire (training cost & exam fee covered)
Current BLS & ACLS (we’ll help renew)

Pay & Schedule

Hourly: $110 – $125 (exact rate set by experience, clinic volume, and location)
Schedule: Three shifts one week, four the next—77 hours across two weeks
Monday – Friday: 8 AM – 7 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 9 AM – 5 PM
Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas
