Job summary

Black Women's Mental Health Institute is seeking an Interventional Pain Management Physician for a full-time outpatient role in Tampa, FL. The physician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain using evidence-based interventional techniques.

Responsibilities include developing personalized treatment plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, educating patients, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of an accredited Pain Medicine fellowship.
• Board Certified or Eligible in Pain Medicine (Anesthesiology or PM&R).
• Eligibility for unrestricted licensure and experience with interventional procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.

Job description

Join a growing outpatient practice as an Interventional Pain Management Physician in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

This full-time role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with acute and chronic pain conditions using evidence-based, interventional techniques such as epidural steroid injections, facet injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and neuromodulation therapies like spinal cord stimulation and pain pumps.

You will develop personalized treatment plans, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educate patients, and maintain accurate documentation. The position emphasizes a strong work-life balance, with no hospital call and support staff to optimize patient care.
