Job summary

Ochsner Health Lafayette General seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Pain Management physician to join a growing program in Lafayette. The role includes comprehensive chronic pain management in outpatient and perioperative settings within a collaborative, academically oriented health system.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Pain Management physician.
• Anesthesiology or PM&R fellowship trained.
• Epic EMR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Perform a full spectrum of interventional pain procedures.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans across outpatient and perioperative settings.
• Prescribe medications and treatment regimens appropriately.
• Document all patient encounters in Epic in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
• Request additional evaluations, testing, or referrals as needed.
• Ensure accurate coding and compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and licensing standards.
• Maintain professionalism and contribute positively to a team-oriented environment.
