Job Summary

As a Physician - Internist, you provide comprehensive care to adult patients with a focus on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide variety of conditions and diseases. You will be responsible for managing both acute and chronic conditions while building lasting relationships with patients and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Title: Physician - Internist

Schedule: Full‑time, Exempt (Clinic Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8am‑5pm)

Salary: $250K‑$300K, depending on experience and qualifications

Location: Chandler, AZ (Onsite)

Clinical Care and Diagnosis
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions and diseases in adult patients.
  • Perform routine physical exams, screenings, and wellness assessments.
  • Provide preventive care and health counseling to patients.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and manage treatment regimens.
  • Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in continuing education and stay current with developments in Internal Medicine.
Clinical Research and Trials (Principal Investigator) – Preferred Experience
  • Serve as the Principal Investigator (PI) for clinical trials related to the treatment and management of multi‑organ diseases.
  • Ensure clinical trials comply with regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and institutional protocols.
  • Recruit, screen, and enroll eligible patients for clinical studies, ensuring informed consent and patient safety throughout the trial process.
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of clinical data, ensuring accuracy and integrity in study results.
  • Coordinate with research teams, sponsors, and regulatory agencies to ensure the smooth operation and completion of clinical trials.
  • Analyze clinical trial outcomes and provide detailed reports and recommendations based on findings.
  • Ensure the protection of patient rights and confidentiality throughout the research process.
  • Mentor and supervise junior researchers, clinicians, and research staff involved in clinical trials.
  • Contribute to the writing of clinical trial publications, presenting findings at scientific conferences, and collaborating with academic institutions on research initiatives.
  • Execute required trainings as assigned by the Regulatory and Compliance department in a timely manner.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required
  • Extensive clinical experience in diagnosing and managing diseases that involve multiple organ systems.
  • Mastery in interpreting complex diagnostic tests and using them for integrated treatment planning.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and collaboration with internal medical teams.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and make data‑driven decisions to contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge.
  • Proven experience in conducting clinical research and serving as a Principal Investigator for clinical trials (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial methodologies, regulatory guidelines, as well as Good Clinical Practice (GCP) (preferred).
  • Leadership and mentorship experience within a healthcare setting is (preferred).
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and data management for clinical trials is (preferred).
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Ability and willingness to teach and train new and current team members including fellow physicians, APPs, medical assistants, and clinical research staff.
Education and/or Credentials and Trainings Required
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD, DO or equivalent) from a US accredited institution.
  • Board certification in relevant specialty (ie. Internal Medicine or Family Medicine).
  • Advanced fellowship or training in multi‑organ diseases.
  • Active medical license with ability to practice in Arizona.
