Job summary

Protouch Staffing in Stevenson, WA is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) for outpatient clinic work at Stevenson and White Salmon. This full-time, on-site role focuses on high-quality primary care and health equity in an FQHC setting.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with time split between locations and occasional weekend coverage. Support education of learners and participate in quality initiatives as part of the team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine is required.
• Current Washington medical license in good standing or ability to obtain.
• Current DEA license in good standing or ability to obtain.
• New graduates are welcome to apply; 1–2 years of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine and primary care services.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care at its Stevenson and White Salmon, Washington clinic locations. This is an outpatient Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) opportunity focused on high-quality primary care, health equity, and improving access to care within the community. The physician will provide direct patient care while participating in clinical quality improvement, peer review, and other organizational initiatives. Providers may also have opportunities to support the education and supervision of physicians and allied health professional learners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine and primary care services.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide preventive care, health education, and ongoing disease management.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
• Providers typically split their time between locations, approximately 2 days in Stevenson and 2 days in White Salmon
• 1.0 FTE includes 32 hours of direct patient care + 8 hours of administrative/asynchronous time per week
• New providers typically work one weekend day per month at the White Salmon clinic
• Participation in day and night call rotations
• Night call is generally one week at a time, approximately every other month
• Evening/overnight call is compensated separately
