Job summary

Intermountain Health is hiring a part-time Hyperbaric and Wound Physician at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. You will provide outpatient wound care, supervise hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and collaborate with the inpatient wound care team to ensure quality patient experience.

The role entails two 10-hour shifts (ideally Tue and Wed) and one week of hyperbaric call per month, with a comprehensive benefits package, PTO, license reimbursement, malpractice coverage, and CME allowance.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in Family or Internal Medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline.
• Completion of UHMS 40-hour Introductory Course in Hyperbaric Medicine, or eligible and willing to complete within onboarding.
• Commitment to enroll in UHMS PATH within one year and progress toward completion.
• Active Utah medical license, or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to complete Intermountain Health credentialing.
• No visa sponsorship available.

About this role:

As a Hyperbaric and Wound Physician, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

• Provide outpatient wound care, serve as the supervising physician for hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and collaborate with the inpatient wound care team as needed
• Work two 10-hour shifts per week, preferably Tuesdays and Wednesdays
• Provide one week of hyperbaric call coverage each month

What you’ll bring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Residency training in Family or Internal Medicinepreferred
• Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline
• Completion of a UHMS-approved 40-hour Introductory Course in Hyperbaric Medicine, or eligibility and willingness to complete the course within the designated onboarding period
• Commitment to enroll in the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) Program for Advanced Training in Hyperbaric Medicine (PATH) within one year of hire and actively progress toward program completion
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
