Jefferson Health is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for the Einstein Philly campus. The Hospitalist will manage hospitalized patients, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The role requires board eligibility or certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, and Pennsylvania license eligibility. Epic EMR experience is preferred, with opportunities for teaching and mentoring trainees.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• PA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Active DEA and CDS registrations.
• Minimum 3 years of residency training with hospital experience.
• Strong clinical acumen and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients.
• Coordinate with specialists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Participate in patient admissions, daily rounds, and discharges, ensuring continuity of care.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, including Rapid Response Team activations and Code Blue situations.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and communication.
• Mentor and supervise medical students, residents, or advanced practice providers as applicable.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician to join our dynamic team at Jefferson Health - Einstein Philly. • Experience in hospitalist medicine within an academic or community hospital setting.
• Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems.
