Barton Associates is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for a 90-day assignment in Michigan. The role involves 12-hour day shifts (7a-7p) with a schedule transition from monthly to biweekly in December, handling adult inpatient care and collaborating with subspecialists.

Requirements include ACLS and BLS certification. Inpatient setting with Cerner EMR, 16 patients per day, and in-house call coverage. Travel expenses are covered and malpractice insurance is provided.

Our client in Michigan seeks a dedicated Hospitalist Physician for a 90-day assignment. The schedule involves 12-hour day shifts (7a-7p), transitioning from every four weeks to every other week starting in December. The Physician will manage adult inpatient cases, including internal medicine, infections, and procedures like lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and CVC, while collaborating with subspecialists.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide internal medicine care for adult inpatient cases, without ICU/CCU
• Manage infections
• Perform Diagnostic/Therapeutic Lumbar Puncture
• Perform Paracentesis
• Perform CVC
• Treat acute medical conditions
• Manage chronic disease flares
• Collaborate with surgical or medical subspecialists
