Job summary

Cynet Health in Alaska seeks a Hospitalist to manage medical/surgical and ICU patients in a busy hospital setting. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hospitalist experience.
• Licensed physician preferred (state of Alaska).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• No routine pediatric coverage unless consulted.

Description:This position is for a hospitalist responsible for managing both medical/surgical and ICU patients.The average patient load is approximately 10 patients per day.Providers will be expected to perform rounding and admissions, including ICU rounding.Preferred procedures include vent management, intubation, and central lines.Candidates must provide documentation of internal medicine or family medicine services from the last 24 months.Night shifts are required, and candidates must be willing to work variable 12-hour shifts.The position offers an opportunity to fill gaps in the schedule and requires flexibility.There is no call requirement associated with this position.Patients are primarily adults, and pediatric patients are not followed unless consulted.Candidates should be prepared to document their clinical experiences relevant to the scope of requested privileges.Note that there are no additional requirements for charge experience.
