CompHealth is recruiting a hospitalist physician in the Brandon/nearby Tampa area. The role supports day shifts from 7 am to 7 pm across two nearby hospital locations, with two scheduling options: 7 on/7 off or 218 annual shifts with flex shifts.

Ideal candidates are board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice, have an active Florida license, and will work in an independent physician-led hospitalist group with APP support and an Epic EMR system.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
• Active Florida medical license.
• Experience in hospitalist or inpatient care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Day shifts 7 am–7 pm at two hospital locations ~8 miles apart.
• Two schedule options: 7 on/7 off at 182 shifts/year or 218 shifts/year with flex shifts.
• Manage census of 18–22 patients with APP support.
• Epic EMR used at both locations.
• Independent, physician-led hospitalist group with local scheduling decisions.
