Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a physician or dentist to provide clinical services aligned with training and expertise. The role emphasizes patient care as the highest priority and the integration of documentation, billing, and continuing education within outpatient and inpatient settings.

The ideal candidate will be licensed or eligible for licensure in GA, completed residency training, and be board-certified or eligible in their specialty.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/DMD/DDS degree and licensure or eligibility in Georgia
• Residency training completed and board certification or eligibility
• Prior practice experience in a residency training program preferred
• Documentation of clinical care and billing responsibilities
• Compliance with WellStar policies and standards of conduct

Job Summary:

Physician and Dentists provide clinical services to patients consistent with their training and expertise. The care of patients is the highest priority in the WellStar Health System.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• The care of patients in Outpatient or Inpatient settings or both.
• The documentation of clinical care
• The documentation and tasks necessary for billing and other administrative functiions
• Continuing Medical Education required to maintain licensure and Board Certification
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all WellStar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

Required Minimum Education:

A MD, DO, DMD, or DDS Degree Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia Applicants must have completed the necessary Residency training requisite for their given specialty and be Certified or qualified for Certifiation by their respective specialty Board

All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
