Job summary

CrescentCare in New Orleans, LA is seeking an MD for outpatient primary care with HIV experience. The role includes 40 hours per week—32 hours in clinic and 8 hours for administrative duties—within a strong, collaborative practice.

The practice operates as an FQHC with robust ancillary services, including case management, behavioral health, outreach and prevention, peer support, addiction services, dental, pediatrics, reproductive health, all on site.

Qualifications

• Board-certified MD with experience treating adults living with HIV.
• Outpatient primary care experience in a clinic setting is preferred.
• Comfort with PrEP and doxyPEP HIV/STI prevention is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care to adults including HIV care.
• See patients 40 hours per week (32 hours in clinic, 8 hours admin).

Job description

Outpatient primary care including care of individuals living with HIV. 40hs per week - 32 hours in clinic with 8 hours of admin time. FQHC setting in New Orleans, LA. Practice would also include comfort with HIV and STI prevention (PrEP, doxyPEP) as well as general primary care.

We require our medical providers to see a minimum of 1850 patient visits per year. We anticipate 6-12 months to build up to that capacity.

CrescentCare operates as a highly collaborative environment with strong ancillary services including robust case management, behavioral health (psychiatry, therapy and groups), outreach/prevention, peer support, addiction services, dental, pediatrics, reproductive health all available on site.
