Job summary

MultiCare Cancer Institute seeks a BC/BE Medical Oncologist to join a long-established, physician-led program delivering comprehensive hematology and oncology care in Washington state. You’ll work with medical, radiation and surgical oncologists and advanced practice providers to deliver high-value, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Board eligibility or certification in Oncology.
  • Graduate of an accredited medical school, residency and fellowship.
  • Licensure to practice medicine in Washington State at time of employment.
  • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority.
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Join a well-established, physician-led oncology program with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Contribute to high-value, patient-centered cancer care and outcomes.

About MultiCare Cancer Institute MultiCare Cancer Institute is a physician-led, multi-specialty group within MultiCare Health System, delivering integrated hematology, oncology, radiation, surgical and supportive care across Washington state. Each year, we diagnose and treat more than 6,000 new cancer cases across Olympia, Spokane, Tacoma and Yakima. We bring together advanced pathology, imaging and evidence-based treatment with holistic supportive services to provide personalized, high-quality cancer care. Position Summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a BC/BE Medical Oncologist to join a well-established program that has provided oncology care to the area for over 40 years. New physicians will work within a growing, multi-disciplinary team including medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, oncologic proceduralists, and advanced practice providers. Ideal candidates will be instrumental in ensuring high patient satisfaction and high value oncology care. There is an opportunity for research and being a principal investigator. Requirements

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $284.33 - $284.33 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
