Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Physician - Hematology Oncology for a 13-week outpatient clinic assignment in Michigan. The role covers daily clinic in a supportive environment with an average of 15-20 outpatients per day, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with clinic call as needed.

Requirements include active Michigan license, board certification in Medical Oncology and Hematology, and BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient oncology care preferred.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient Hematology/Oncology care in a clinic setting.
• Participate in clinic call as needed to cover gaps.
• Attend tumor board meetings and contribute to case discussions.
• Support staff includes oncology RNs, medical assistants, social worker, dietitian, and nurse navigator.
• Utilize onsite infusion center and perform CBCs as needed.

Description:A Medical Oncology and Hematology Physician is needed to provide outpatient clinic coverage.The role includes clinic call as needed to fill a recruitment gap.The schedule consists of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.Average patient load is 15 to 20 outpatients per day.The physician will provide care in a supportive outpatient clinic environment.Support staff includes oncology RNs, medical assistants, a social worker, a dietitian, and a nurse navigator.Onsite services available include an infusion center and onsite CBCs.The physician will be expected to participate in tumor board meetings.Familiarity with the Cerner EMR system is preferred.Candidates must provide a copy of the NPDB self-query, which should be pulled within 30 days prior to presentation.
