Job summary

Family Health West Employment Opportunities seeks a Board-certified/eligible Gynecologist for a GYN-only practice in Western Colorado. The role features a 3–4 day work week with options for full or part-time employment, outpatient clinic, and potential for surgical opportunities in a supportive, well-resourced environment.

Candidates should be MD/DOs with OB-GYN residency and Colorado licensure, and be comfortable working without obstetrics in a patient-centered team.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology (GYN-only focus).
• Active Colorado medical license and DEA license.
• Completed ACGME residency in OB-GYN.
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive gynecologic evaluations and manage women's health issues.
• Perform office-based procedures such as IUD insertion/removal and ultrasounds.
• Surgeries including minimally invasive and traditional gynecologic procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Document accurately in the EHR and participate in quality initiatives.

Gynecology-Only Physician (No Obstetrics) - Full or Part Time - Western Colorado

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gynecologist to join our patient-centered, collaborative team in Western Colorado. This is a GYN-only position (no obstetrics), offering excellent flexibility with a 3-4 day work week and options for full or part-time employment.

Who We’re Looking For:

• BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology (with a focus on GYN-only practice)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive gynecologic evaluations and manage a wide spectrum of women’s health issues, including menstrual disorders, menopause, pelvic pain, endometriology, fibroids, PCOS, and abnormal uterine bleeding.
• Perform office-based procedures such as colposcopy, IUD insertion/removal, endometrial biopsy, and ultrasound interpretation.
• Perform minimally invasive and traditional gynecologic surgeries (if applicable), including laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and hysterectomy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, including primary care, urology, oncology, and reproductive endocrinology.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical guidelines and best practices.
• Educate patients on preventative care, contraceptive options, sexual health, and menopausal management.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Colorado.
• DEA license and BLS/ACLS certification.
• Strong clinical and surgical skills in gynecology.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, urogynecology, or gynecologic oncology (optional, based on position).
• Experience with electronic medical records (e.g., Epic).
• Previous outpatient-only or surgical gynecology experience.

Wage as $248-$262K/yr with Productivity bonus. Sign on and Retention bonus eligible.
