Job summary

Gould Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC General Surgeon in Modesto, California. The role includes starting base salary of $502,947, a two-year salary guarantee, a sign-on bonus, and an RVU-based model from year two.

Fellowship training or experience in minimally invasive/robotic surgery is preferred, with call of 1 in 4 days and weekends. The group operates with Epic EHR and currently has three surgeons and APCs in the department, offering a stable, growing environment and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Board certified or Board eligible physician in general surgery.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general surgeries for adult patients.
• Work with a team of surgeons and advanced practice clinicians.
• Provide patient care in Modesto, CA with Epic EMR.

Position Details:

• Starting base salary: $502,947

• 22-24 patients per day
• Currently 3 established surgeons and APCs in the department
• Call requirement is currently 1 in 4 days and 1 in 4 weekends on average
• Stable and growing group
