Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible general surgeon for a hospital-employed position in rural Wyoming. The role includes solo practice with support from one mid-level APP, a flexible call structure for existing patients, and core procedures including upper and lower scopes and gallbladder surgery.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of post-training experience and no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of post-training experience.
• Board-certified or board-eligible general surgeons encouraged to apply.

• Experience in rural or small-hospital settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform core procedures including upper and lower scopes and gallbladder surgery.
• Manage cases in a rural hospital setting with support from a mid-level APP.
• Coordinate with the facility to ensure smooth patient care pathways.
