Job summary

CompHealth is assisting in placing an HPB surgeon in an established Los Angeles area private surgical group. The team currently has four surgeons and no HPB or surgical oncology specialist, welcoming HPB surgeons, oncologists, or experienced general surgeons with HPB experience.

Robotic surgery is available at a designated Robotic Center of Excellence, with coverage across three acute care hospitals tied to academia.

Qualifications

• HPB fellowship training preferred; experienced general surgeons considered.
• Board-certified surgeon with HPB/surgical oncology experience.
• DEA registration required.

Responsibilities

• Join an established and rapidly growing private surgical group in the Los Angeles area.
• Practice includes 4 surgeons with no current HPB or surgical oncology specialist on team.
• Open to HPB surgeon, surgical oncologist, or experienced general surgeon with HPB background.
• Robotic surgery available at a designated Robotic Center of Excellence.
• Coverage across three acute care hospitals with academic affiliation.
• Approximately 5 - 6 call shifts per month with schedule based on coverage needs.
• No visa sponsorship available; DEA required.
