Job summary

CHRISTUS Southeast Texas - St. Elizabeth Surgical Associates in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join a busy surgical program. The role offers a mix of elective surgery and clinic duties with access to advanced robotic technology.

The practice features 14 hospital ORs and 8 outpatient suites, supportive clinic staff, and a favorable schedule (Mon-Thu 8-5, Fri 8-12; one clinic day per week) with shared ER call among surgeons.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in General Surgery required.
• Texas Medical License or eligible for a Texas Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Perform ~10 elective surgeries per week with 10-20 new clinic patients daily.
• Broad General Surgery with focus on Breast, Thyroid, and Hiatal Hernias (preferred not required).
• Utilize 4 Da Vinci Robots and Epic EMR.
• Dedicated clinic staff including MAs and surgery schedulers.
• Hours: Mon-Thu 8-5, Fri 8-12; 1 clinic day per week.
• Share ER call with 7 other surgeons.

About the Opportunity:

• Case Volume: Perform ~10 electives per week with 10-20 new clinic patients daily.
• Surgical Scope: Broad General Surgery with specific needs in Breast, Thyroid, and Hiatal Hernias (preferred not required)
• Technology: Access to 4 Da Vinci Robots and Epic EMR.

Requirements:

• Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Surgery
• Must possess a Texas Medical License or eligible for a Texas Medical License
