Job summary

GHR Healthcare is seeking a Radiology Physician for a locum tenens position in Terre Haute, IN. The role involves on-site coverage for emergency radiology, stroke, and trauma imaging with a per diem schedule.

Start date is ASAP with 8-hour shifts (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM EST) on a 7 on/7 off rotation, including holidays. Board-certified candidates with ED/acute care experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology with ED/acute care imaging experience.
• Minimum 1 year of post-training clinical experience interpreting ED, stroke, and trauma exams.
• Proficient interpreting CT, MRI, ultrasound, and plain film studies for emergency and inpatient care.
• Eligible for temporary privileges with a clean file.
• Preferred: Experience with PACS, RPCE Tech Stack, and PowerScribe 4.0.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely interpretation and reporting of imaging studies (CT, MRI, US, plain films) for emergency, stroke, and trauma cases.
• Meet productivity expectations of approximately 75 RVUs per shift.
• Communicate effectively with ED physicians, hospital staff, and care teams to support clinical decision-making.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered radiology services in a collaborative hospital environment.
• Participate in 7 on/7 off scheduling and cover holidays as required.
