Job summary

CompHealth is partnering with a Tyler, TX based gastroenterology practice within a fully integrated, nonprofit health system that employs physicians and advanced practice providers.

The role features a rotating clinic/inpatient schedule, with daytime inpatient coverage by a dedicated GI hospitalist team, strong support for licensing and interview coordination, and ongoing salary/contract negotiation assistance.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist required.
• DEA license required.
• Join a large team with inpatient/outpatient coverage and strong support.

Responsibilities

• Rotating schedule: 3–4 weeks in clinic, then 3–4 weeks inpatient.
• Clinic hours Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm with approximately 1:7 call.
• Inpatient rotation is 7 on / 7 off with no call responsibilities.
