Job summary

CompHealth is assisting a well-established private practice in coastal Connecticut to recruit a board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist. The role offers an opportunity to inherit an established patient panel with strong mentorship support, in a primarily outpatient setting with hospital/ASC procedures.

ERCP and EUS are available but not required; the position features phone-only call, no in-house hospital duties while on call, and a clear path to partnership with substantial earning

• Open to physicians at different career stages, including 2027 fellows.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient gastroenterology care with procedures at hospital and ambulatory surgery centers.
• Perform procedures when needed; participate in a balanced clinic and procedure mix.
• Loan on call: phone-only call with no in-house hospital responsibilities.

A well-established private practice in coastal Connecticut is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist to join its growing team. This opportunity is available due to a planned physician retirement and offers the ability to inherit an established patient panel with strong mentorship support.

The practice is primarily outpatient focused with a balanced mix of clinic and procedures. Physicians perform procedures in both hospital and ambulatory surgery center settings. ERCP and EUS are available but are not required for consideration.

This position offers an excellent quality of life with shared phone only call and no in house hospital responsibilities while on call. The group values collegiality, patient centered care, and long term physician retention.
