Job summary

CompHealth is assisting physicians with opportunities across the United States, including Michigan. A GI-focused role with an Employed model features a Monday–Friday 8 am–5 pm schedule, no weekends, and no on-call duties. You’ll help launch a GI service line and grow the referral base, with on-site endoscopy and CT backup.

A team of mid-level providers supports a manageable patient census daily. ERCP and EUS skills are a plus, telemedicine-friendly with a flexible footprint in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Experience with establishing GI service lines or endoscopy programs.
• Ability to collaborate with a multi-provider team in a hospital setting.
• Willingness to work in Michigan with telemedicine flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Monday - Friday schedule, 8 am - 5 pm, no weekends and no on-call duties.
• Launch a new GI service line and shape the program and referral base from day one.
• Employed model with no partnership buy-in and no existing patient backlog to inherit.
• On-site endoscopy center and on-site CT surgical backup available.
• Manageable census of 15 - 25 patients per day with 4 mid-level providers on staff.
• ERCP and EUS skills are a plus, not a requirement.
• Telemedicine-friendly with a flexible practice footprint across Michigan.
• J-1/H-1B visa candidates welcome.
• We coordinate interviews and help with licenses.
