Job description

Join a thriving gastroenterology practice in southeast Alabama that is seeking a physician to replace a retiring partner. This established group offers an exceptional balance of income potential, lifestyle, and long term stability.

The practice consists of 12 gastroenterologists and is structured to maximize efficiency and physician satisfaction. Dedicated GI hospitalists manage inpatient procedures, resulting in only two weeks of call annually. Physicians currently enjoy a schedule of approximately three procedure days and one and a half clinic days each week, with the office closing at noon on Fridays.

The group offers advanced endoscopy opportunities, including EUS. Fellows without advanced endoscopy fellowship training who are interested in ERCP can receive training and mentorship within the practice. Several experienced physicians are available to provide guidance and support as you transition into practice.

A partnership track is available after two years and includes ownership opportunities in both the ambulatory surgery center and clinic real estate, creating multiple revenue streams beyond clinical income. Physicians who establish themselves within the group commonly achieve annual earnings exceeding $1 million.

The practice welcomes both experienced physicians and current fellows, with a preference for 2025 and 2026 graduates. A GI hospitalist option with a 7-on, 7-off schedule is also available for candidates seeking a dedicated inpatient role.
