CompHealth is helping a well-established gastroenterology practice in Maryland recruit a permanent gastroenterologist. The role emphasizes a mostly outpatient schedule with inpatient rounding limited to the physician's own patients, offering flexibility to perform advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS if desired.

The practice, with privileges at Doctors Community Hospital in Bowie, MD, plans a new GI clinic and endoscopy center in Annapolis with a 2027 opening.

Job description

A well-established gastroenterology practice in Maryland is seeking a permanent gastroenterologist to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a mostly outpatient practice with inpatient rounding limited to your own patients.

The position offers the flexibility to focus on bread and butter gastroenterology while also providing the option to perform advanced procedures, including ERCP and EUS, if desired. The practice currently operates in Bowie, Maryland, with privileges at Doctors Community Hospital. There is also an exciting opportunity to become part of a new GI clinic and endoscopy center planned for Annapolis, Maryland, with an anticipated opening in summer 2027. Physicians interested in the Annapolis location may begin practicing in Bowie prior to the new site opening.

Salary from $500000.00 to $550000.00 annually
Ranges shown should be used as an estimate and are affected by many factors including the critical need of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations.
