Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our established team in LaGrange, Georgia. The physician will provide care in the office and may perform in-patient consults and procedures at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center, a nearby 276-bed hospital.

Employed with a competitive compensation package, signing bonus and relocation allowance; coverage at one hospital; Epic EMR; occurrence-based malpractice; 403(b) with employer match.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and GA license eligible.
• Residency/fellowship completed in gastroenterology; board certification or eligibility.
• Competency in gastroenterology clinical skills and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide gastroenterology care in outpatient and inpatient settings in LaGrange, GA.
• Perform and assist GI procedures as part of patient care.
• Collaborate with Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center team for patient management.

Required Minimum Education
