Job summary

Astrya Global Medical Staffing is hiring a Gastroenterologist for a 13-week locum assignment in Longview, Washington. Work 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, with 24-hour call coverage and extension potential. Epix EMR documentation and team collaboration are essential.

Requires Board Certification in Gastroenterology, WA license in hand, and active BLS/ACLS. COVID vaccination is required. Weekly pay and full malpractice insurance provided.

Responsibilities

• Document using the Epic EMR system.

Job Title: Gastroenterologist
Location: Longview, Washington
Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $416 - $448/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Gastroenterologist for a temporary assignment in Longview, Washington. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Gastroenterologist:

• Work (5) 8-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, plus 24-hour call as scheduled
• Provide 24-hour unrestricted call coverage for consults, rounding, and add-on ACU cases as needed
• Round and admit adult inpatient patients, managing 12-14 patients per day
• Perform standard endoscopy procedures (No ERCP)
• Collaborate with a team of 3 GI providers, hospitalists, and 2 APPs
• Utilize Epic EMR system for all clinical documentation
• Maintain active Board Certification in Gastroenterology
• Hold a valid State of Washington medical license (must be in hand at time of start)
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Provide documentation (case list) of clinical services for a minimum of 100 patients within the previous 24 months, representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested, including diagnosis or procedure, date, and facility where performed
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements (no exemptions)
