Job summary

Barton Associates is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 60-day assignment in Alaska, starting November 23, 2026. The role offers full primary care coverage in either 8am-5pm or 10:30am-7pm shifts, with some travel to satellite clinics.

The physician will manage a broad range of acute conditions, including respiratory infections, UTIs, minor injuries, anxiety, and common adult illnesses, contributing to community health.

Qualifications

• Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR system.
• Preference for providers open to holistic health practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and treat respiratory infections, flu, and urinary tract infections.
• Address patient complaints of nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
• Evaluate and treat acute back/joint pain, minor injuries, and sprains.
• Diagnose and manage skin rashes, headaches/migraines, and sexually transmitted infections.
• Provide care for ear infections, anxiety, and situational stress.
• Travel between clinic locations in Anchor Point and Seldovia as needed.
• Demonstrate openness to holistic health approaches within patient care.
