Qualifications

• Board certified in Family Medicine or must achieve certification within applicable board timeframe.
• Active Michigan medical license or ability to obtain one.
• DEA license.
• Open to new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a general family medicine setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Engage in teaching and mentoring of residents, medical students, and fellows.
• Document in Epic EMR and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Support community health efforts and promote preventive care.

Opportunity Details

• Position Type:Full-time (1.0 FTE)
• Office Hours: Monday, 7:30am to 6pm, Tuesday through Friday, 7:30am to 5pm
• Location:611 E Main St Hart, MI 49420
• Specialty:Family Medicine Physician
• Team Size: 2 providers, 3 APPs, 2 LMSW, Pharm D, Care manager and 21 support staff
• Teaching Opportunities:Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
• Call Requirements:On call is shared between the Whitehall, Shelby, Hart & Ludington offices. Physicians rotated a on call week throughout the year (approx. 8 times a year depending on the number of providers in the call pool.)

Requirements
