Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University is accepting applications for a full-time, employed faculty position in the Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The position involves outpatient and inpatient practice with cardiac imaging. Outpatient services will be at the Honickman Center, a state-of-the-art multi-specialty outpatient care facility in downtown Philadelphia, PA, with inpatient services at Jefferson Methodist Hospital or Jefferson Torresdale Hospital.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills in outpatient and inpatient general and consultative cardiology. A strong interest in echocardiography, with at least COCATS level 2 training and NBE board eligibility or certification, is required.
The candidate will join a team of over 45 full-time academic cardiologists in a multidisciplinary practice with robust clinical, research, and teaching programs, including structural and interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, advanced heart failure and transplant, and specialized clinics in cardio-oncology, cardio-obstetrics, amyloidosis, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
