Job summary

GHR Healthcare seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Endocrinologist for an ongoing locums assignment at a Level I Trauma Center in Staten Island, NY.

The schedule is a 7-on/7-off model with flexible rotations. The role is 100% inpatient consultative, with 8 hours of rounding and daily consults. Light after-hours call is expected with very infrequent callbacks. Immediate credentialing with emergency privileges is available, and the assignment continues until a permanent provider is hired.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
• Active New York medical license (IMLC accepted).
• Comfortable managing complex inpatient endocrine consults.

Clinical Focus

• Diabetes management and diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA)
• Adrenal crisis
• Thyroid disease and medication titration
• Post-thyroidectomy management
• Endocrine consults for pregnant patients
• Collaborative inpatient consult service

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
• Active New York medical license (IMLC accepted)
• Comfortable managing complex inpatient endocrine consults
