Job summary

Northwestern Medicine in Illinois is seeking a compassionate Nocturnist Emergency Medicine physician to join our team across McHenry, Woodstock, and Huntley. This full-time role offers night shifts in a high-volume community hospital with advanced resources.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Medical Licensure and DEA registration required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine is required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical school with residency in Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Salary Range Maximum: $368,000.00
• Compensation: USD 295,000 - USD 368,000 - yearly

Northwestern Medicineis seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nocturnist Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in McHenry, Woodstock, and Huntley, IL, located in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago.

The Emergency Medicine Physician will have the opportunity to practice clinically in an innovative community hospital with advanced resources and technology as part of Northwestern Medicine’s integrated academic health system. In conjunction with clinical practice responsibilities, the physician will be responsible for providing supervision and instruction to all advanced practice providers.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals
• Hospital privileges at McHenry, Woodstock, and Huntley Hospital
• Nurse and certified medical assistant support
• EPIC electronic health system

• Active Illinois Medical Licensure and DEA
• Board certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Graduate of fully accredited medical school and successful completion of residency in Emergency Medicine
