Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine physician for a brand-new, free-standing ED in Hilton Head, South Carolina, opening late 2026. This permanent full-time role offers a low-volume ED with flexible 10-hour shifts and a 1099 compensation structure (W-2 option available).

Days and nights are well-compensated at $275/hour and $285/hour respectively, with an emphasis on excellent work-life balance in a coastal community known for golf, beaches, boating and outdoor recreation.

Qualifications

• Be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• U.S. licensed physician and eligible to work in the United States.
• Commitment to lifestyle-friendly practice with flexible 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a brand-new, low-volume, free-standing ED in Hilton Head, SC.
• Work flexible 10-hour shifts and contribute to a positive patient experience.
