Job summary

Barton Associates is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for a 30-day assignment in New Hampshire, starting Dec 29, 2026.

You will cover 24-hour shifts from 8 AM to 8 AM across three affiliate hospitals, providing solo coverage in a rural Critical Access Hospital setting. Approximately 25 patients per day will be managed.

Travel-related expenses are covered and A-rated medical malpractice insurance is provided, with a dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• Board certifications in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine are required.
• Experience with solo coverage in rural hospital settings preferred.
• Experience working in Critical Access Hospitals is a plus.
• Ability to manage high patient volumes during 24-hour shifts.
