Description:High-functioning emergency room with good throughput and great patient population.Friendly staff and location in a vibrant community.Reason for the need: Recent sudden departure of full-time doctor and another resignation effective November 15.Expectations for orientation include EMR training.Candidate must be comfortable in a busy community emergency room.Emergency privileges are an option for credentialing.Case logs will be needed, following usual requirements.The emergency room has 50 bays with an average patient volume of 2 patients per hour.There is no trauma designation and minimal pediatric cases.Providers will see all acuity levels, as there is no triage for lower acuity cases.The staffing model includes staggered shifts with single coverage from 3 AM to 6 AM.Support staff is well-staffed in the community emergency department.The ED admission rate is approximately 30%.Five positions are open for this opportunity.
