Job summary

CompHealth is assisting in placing an Emergency Medicine physician in Georgia under a 1099 independent contractor arrangement with flexible scheduling. Open to board-certified or board-eligible EM physicians, FP/IM with 2+ EM experience also considered. Shifts run 7 am–7 pm and 7 pm–7 am, with 50/50 day/night coverage.

The recruiter will advocate during contract negotiations on pay and benefits and assist with licenses and interviews. Georgia-based facility with high-volume ED.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible EM physician; FP/IM with 2+ years EM experience considered.
• DEA registration required; Georgia license a plus; IMLC-qualified candidates welcome.
• 1099 independent contractor with flexible full-time or part-time scheduling.
• Day shifts 7 am–7 pm and night shifts 7 pm–7 am; 50% days and 50% nights required.
• Open to board-certified or board-eligible EM physicians; high-volume ED with ~46K annual visits.
