Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a BC/BE Mohs Surgeon to join a busy dermatology practice. The physician will start 50% general dermatology and 50% Mohs, with potential to move to 100% Mohs.

The role combines outpatient clinic and inpatient consults, with collaboration from a skilled team of dermatologists and APPs. There is an opportunity to teach medical students and residents, with a well-equipped office offering phototherapy and laser capabilities.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Mohs surgery.
• Experience in general dermatology and Mohs procedures preferred.
• Willingness to teach medical students and residents.

Responsibilities

• Split practice: 50% general dermatology and 50% Mohs surgery initially, with potential to shift to 100% Mohs.
• Provide outpatient clinic and inpatient consult coverage.

Sanford Health is seeking a BC/BE Mohs Surgeon to join its busy, established practice in Fargo, ND.

• Physician would likely start as 50% general and 50% MOHS to start, with potential to grow to 100% MOHs.

• Combination of flexible outpatient clinic and inpatient consult service.

• Partner with a successful team of dermatologists supported by advanced practice providers.

• Aesthetician onsite

• Wide range of dermatologic services including general medical & surgical dermatology, Mohs surgery, cosmetic and pediatric dermatology

• Mid-level providers help support patient demand; supervision of non-physician providers is optional

• Fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon onsite

• Well-equipped office offering UVB phototherapy, XTRAC excimer laser, Candela VBeam, Sciton platform with BBL, ProFractional, Halo, Q-switched Nd: YAG, Ruby, Light Sheer hair removal

• Flexible 4-5-day work week with no in-hospital or after-hours call

• Support of 2-3 nurses per physician

• Compliant patient population with Midwest values

• Busy practice from day 1; catchment area exceeds 1.2 million

• Opportunity to teach medical students and residents.
