MaineHealth Medical Group in Rockport, ME is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Dermatologist to join our Specialty Skin practice serving Midcoast Maine. Join a collaborative team and provide comprehensive outpatient dermatologic care for adults and children.

You will diagnose and manage a broad range of skin conditions, perform procedures, and work with Advanced Practice Providers and referring clinicians to expand access.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Dermatology.
• Experience in medical dermatology, skin cancer screening, lesion evaluation and procedural dermatology.
• Ability to collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and referring clinicians to ensure coordinated care.
• Willingness to develop subspecialty interests based on community needs.

MaineHealth Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Dermatologist to join our growing Specialty Skin practice serving Midcoast Maine. This is an exciting opportunity to build a thriving dermatology practice while improving access to high-quality skin care services for patients who would otherwise need to travel significant distances for specialty care.

As the dedicated dermatologist for the practice, you will join a highly collaborative team supported by experienced Advanced Practice Providers and a robust referral network of primary care physicians, family medicine providers, surgeons, and specialty clinicians throughout the MaineHealth system. You will also have the benefit of collaborating with dermatology colleagues at neighboring Lincoln Hospital in Damariscotta, providing opportunities for professional connection and shared clinical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient dermatologic care for adult and pediatric patients
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of skin, hair, and nail disorders
• Perform skin cancer screenings and surveillance
• Conduct dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and other office-based treatments
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and referring clinicians to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Support quality improvement initiatives and practice development efforts
• Participate in the continued growth and expansion of dermatology services across the region

This Position Offers:

• At MaineHealth, we recognize the value each team member brings to our organization. Total compensation packages may include, based on eligibility, recruitment payments, relocation assistance, productivity incentives, and quality incentives.
• The annual base salary for this position is $500,000.
