Qualifications

• Also medical degrees from other countries that are equivalent to the United States MD or DO degrees from a Medical School recognized by the North Carolina Medical Board.

Responsibilities

• Educate residents, interns and students; participate in didactic teaching conferences, clinical teaching, staff education conferences and clinical research.
• Supervise the interdisciplinary team and residents/students; provide direct and indirect patient care.
• Maintain up-to-date medical records for billing purposes; provide accurate and timely documentation.
• Participate in medical audits, quality improvement programs, and professional standards compliance.
• Liaise with other staff and referral sources; inform referring physicians of care and outcomes.
• Contribute to development of clinical guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with professional ethics.
