Job summary

The WakeMed Physician is responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients within their division and may supervise residents, medical students and APPs. The Physician is responsible for appropriate coding and corporate compliance and may be responsible for some general administrative responsibilities of the practice.

The Physician reports directly to the Director of their assigned division and supports the mission, values, and management of WakeMed.

Qualifications

• Fellowship/Internship/Residency - Related Area Required
• Licensed Medical Physician And Board Certification in Area of Practice Required
• Doctorate Medicine Required

Responsibilities

• Provide quality clinical care to patients within the physician's division.
• Teach and supervise residents, medical students and APPs as appropriate.
• Ensure appropriate coding and corporate compliance; manage some administrative responsibilities.
• Report to the Division Director and support WakeMed mission and management.

Doctorate Medicine Required

Licensed Medical Physician

Board Certification in Area of Practice
