Job summary

Ochsner Children's is seeking a board certified/board eligible Child Abuse Pediatrician to lead its expanding system of care across New Orleans, LA and the Gulf South. The role includes oversight of outpatient, inpatient, and ED consults for suspected abuse, in collaboration with a new child advocacy center.

Ochsner Children's is seeking a board certified/board eligible Child Abuse Pediatrician to help lead its expanding system of care across New Orleans, LA and the entire Gulf South

Opportunity Details:

• Oversight of program development to provide outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department consults for suspected abuse and neglect in collaboration with a new Parish (county)-funded child advocacy center.
• The development of this service line is coordinated with a brand-new trauma program - and opening of a brand new comprehensive peds ED (within the all new Ochsner Children's Hospital) in early 2028
• Receive the time and the support needed to provide patient and family centric medical evaluations and care with strong support form Children's Hospital leadership and administration
• The position offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience with full benefits, paid relocation, and a signing bonus.
