Job summary

CompHealth in Fort Smith, AR seeks a cardiothoracic surgeon to join a focused team performing cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures in a dedicated cardiovascular OR with on-site robotic capabilities and Epic EMR.

This role features a 1:3 call schedule and a supportive recruiter to negotiate contracts and assist with licensing, interviews, and transitions, ensuring a smooth path to practice in the local community.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility required.
• Experience performing cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures.
• Ability to work in a 1:3 call schedule.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR and hospital systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with 2 physicians and 1 advanced practitioner.
• Perform cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures.
• Utilize dedicated cardiovascular operating rooms.
• Work with on-site robotic surgery equipment.
• Coordinate interviews and assist with licenses.
