CompHealth is assisting Fort Smith, AR-based facilities in recruiting a cardiothoracic surgeon. The role involves performing cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures within dedicated cardiovascular operating rooms and leveraging an on-site robot for advanced surgeries.

Join a small, cohesive team with 2 physicians and 1 advanced practitioner; expect a 1:3 call schedule and comprehensive contract support, including visa assistance where eligible.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible required.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
• Willingness to participate in call rotations and complex cardiovascular cases.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac, vascular and thoracic procedures.
• Work within dedicated cardiovascular operating rooms.
• Utilize robotic assistance for advanced surgical procedures when available.
• Collaborate with 2 physicians and 1 advanced practitioner on the team.
• Participate in on-call schedule (1:3).
