Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Physician specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery for a 30‑day assignment in Ohio, commencing September 14, 2026. This role primarily involves call coverage and rounding, along with performing a range of complex cardiothoracic surgical procedures to manage diverse patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive call coverage and rounding.
• Perform general cardiovascular/thoracic surgery.
• Conduct coronary artery bypass surgery (on pump).
• Execute valvular repair and cardiac aneurysm repair procedures.
• Perform lung resections, including VATs, and CABG.
• Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues.
• Insert central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters.
• Manage approximately 10 patient encounters per shift within a 28‑bed department.
