Job summary

Palm Careers seeks an experienced, fellowship-trained Cardiologist for a full-time Locum Cardiology opportunity in Iowa. Start ASAP with January 2027 temporary privileges. Schedule Mon-Thu 8:00a-5:00p, Fri 8:00a-12:30p; call 1:4 weekdays, 1:5 or 1:6 weekends.

Setting includes clinic, outreach, and inpatient rounding with Epic EMR. Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of fellowship) in Cardiology. Iowa license or IMLC with LOQ preferred.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Cardiology Board Certification or eligibility (ABMS).
• Fellowship trained in Cardiology.
• Active Iowa license or IMLC with LOQ.
• Clean malpractice and background.

Responsibilities

• Clinic, outreach, and inpatient coverage.
• Perform echo/nuclear reads, TEE and cardioversions.
• Doctor of the Week rounding and inpatient rounds.
• Document in Epic EMR.

• Start: ASAP (January 2027 with temporary privileges)
• Commitment: Full-time need; minimum 2 weeks per month, 4 weeks per month ideal
• Schedule: Mon-Thu 8:00a-5:00p, Fri 8:00a-12:30p
• Call: Weekday call 1:4; weekend call 1:5 or 1:6
• Setting: Clinic, outreach, and inpatient (Doctor of the Week rounding, echo/nuclear reads, TEE and cardioversions)
• EMR: Epic

Requirements
