Job summary

Aim to join an academic cardiovascular program in Tucson as a Board Certified/Eligible Interventional Cardiologist. This full-time faculty role emphasizes high-quality clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activity within an academic medical center.

You will perform diagnostic and interventional coronary procedures, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor cardiology fellows while contributing to quality improvement and program development.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with eligibility for an unrestricted medical license and hospital privileges (as applicable).
• Completed accredited fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
• Strong commitment to patient care, teamwork, professionalism, and education.
• Preferred expertise in contemporary coronary interventions and complex cardiovascular management.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional coronary procedures, including coronary angiography and percutaneous interventions.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care, including pre- and post-procedure management.
• Partner with diverse cardiology subspecialties and hospital teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Mentor and educate cardiology fellows, residents, students, and clinical staff.
• Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety, clinical research, and program development.
